Discoverers had a visit from a lady called Karina today. She works for Countryside Partnerships West, a house building and urban regeneration company based in Bristol. She taught the children about materials used to build houses as well as some safety regulations that need to be followed. She challenged the children to design their own city and to consider what amenities and buildings it would need. They also needed to consider the materials they would use to build with and their reasons why. Karina was really impressed by the enthusiasm and knowledge the children showed!
