Stoke Bishop Church Of England Primary School

Year 3 and 4 are performing their production "What a Knight!" on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st March. You can buy tickets from the school office. Year 3 and 4 children will need to be dropped at school at 6pm both nights. Our Easter Service is on Thursday morning (22nd March). If you can help, please let your child's class teacher know.

Welcome to Year Four's class page!

Our teachers are Miss Derrick and Mrs Gough. We have lots of exciting things happening this year such as; a trip to a Roman fortress, the year 3/4 production, year 4 camp and a variety of other activities! Oh What a Knight Production

PE Days

Our PE days are: 

4G - Tuesday (outdoor) and Thursday (indoor)

4D - Tuesday (outdoor) and Thursday (indoor

Please ensure your child has the correct PE uniform in school for these days and that each piece of clothing is named. 


Spellings are due in every Tuesday and your child's spelling test will also be on Tuesday. 

Home Learning

Reading - Each week children are expected to read 5 times (and record this in their reading record).

Times Tables - Children will be tested on their times tables every Friday and should practise in the week.

Home Learning - Children will be given a termly home learning sheet, based on their topic, which will give suggestions of tasks they could complete during the term.

Our Topic for Term 4 is...

This term our topic is Iron Man! We will explore the story of the Iron Man in our English lessons. We will also be practising our production of 'Oh What a Knight!', ready for the final week of the term when we will perform it.
